Biography
Born Veretia Mocke in Benoni on 13 September 1938. Music teacher and composer of children's music.
Had tuition in both singing and pianoforte before she became a student of Pieter de Villiers.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Harvey composed a number of operettas. These include:
- Klasie die vlakhasie (1961)
- Die onvoltooide aria (1962)
- Alleen in die wêreld (1963)
- Die Goue Toorstokkie, published as a DALRO Playscript (1973/1974)
- Bim, die stoute beertjie (1975)
- Blou, blou waar is jy nou? (1975)
- Moffie Muis (1980)
