A play in two acts and five scenes (based on the German Kopf in der Schlinge of Otto Bastian). Made into a film in 1925 and again in 1936 (the Merivale version?).
An Afrikaans version of the play, called Agter Geslote Deure' ("Behind Closed Doors"), produced in Afrikaans by Hendrik Hanekom in 1925/1936/7 (??), the same year that the film of the play was being shown in South Africa. * [CHECK?*]
