The Male Animal, a comedy written by American cartoonist, author, journalist, playwright, and celebrated wit James Thurber (1894-1961) [1] in collaboration with his college friend, Elliot Nugent.

The original text
The play was staged on Broadway and later adapted into the film starring Henry Fonda and Olivia de Havilland.
