Safundi

Safundi is an international open-access journal that publishes research and transnational/comparative analyses of the history, culture and politics of Southern Africa, Africa, and the world. It is sometimnes referred to as Safundi: The Journal of South African and American Studies in sources, but is normally referred to and published under its acronym.

Originally founded as a venue for analyses of the United States and South Africa from a comparative perspective, but has since extended its scope to include the whole of southern Africa and its historical, cultural, and political connections to the Global North and the Global South.
