Henrietta Frames
Henrietta "Poppy" Frames (1904 - 1985) was a ballet teacher and a pioneer of classical dance in the old "Transvaal".
Also billed as Poppy Frames.

Biography
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She was a founding member of the Johannesburg Dance Teachers Association (1923), and the Johannesburg Festival Ballet Society in 1944.
She directed Enchantment at the Palladium Theatre, Johannesburg in April 1923, featuring pupils from her studio.
Awards
She was the first South African to be honoured with the Grace Bristow Award by the Royal Academy of Dancing in 1984. She was elected a fellow of the Academy in 1980.
