Pip Marshall (19*-). Lighting designer.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

During his career, spanning several decades, he did lighting design for productions such as Mornings at Seven (NTO 1959), The Cave Dwellers (NTO Kamertoneel 1959), Moeder Hanna (Bellville Kamertoneel 1959), The Hole and Black Comedy (Little Theatre 1969), Hamlet (Little Theatre 1969), The Royal Hunt of the Sun (Little Theatre 1969/70), Henry V (Little Theatre 1971) , Die Effek van Gammastrale op Goudgeel Afrikaners (1973), A Delicate Balance (Baxter Theatre 1978), Seer in the Suburbs (Baxter Theatre 1981) , Getting Out (Little Theatre 1983), Another Country (1983), The Nuns (Little Theatre 1984), Sweet Bird of Youth (Little Theatre 1985), Three Sisters (Baxter Theatre 1987), Blithe Spirit (Little Theatre 1989), Murder in the Cathedral (1992).

In March 1998 he was awarded a Fleur du Cap for his contribution to the industry.
