Pinkie and the Fairies is a fairy play in three acts (Evening in the Garden, Night in the Wood, and Morning in the Garden), written by W. Graham Robertson with music by Frederic Norton.

The original text

First performed in 1908 at His Majesty's Theatre, London, starring Ellen Terry. Published by Heinemann in 1909.

Performance history in South Africa

1917: Presented by Miss Joan Stent in January in aid of South African Disabled Soldiers and the Star and Garter Fund.

1917: Presented by Muriel Alexander at the Palladium Theatre, Johannesburg in aid of the National Council of Women Workers and the Mercantile Marine in April and again in May, featuring pupils from Alexander's studio.
