Mirage - the play (1928)
A South African one-act play by Dora Taylor, member of the Cape Town Repertory Theatre Society, it tells the story of a man and a woman whose philandering is interrupted by a visitor whose presence turns out to be catalytic.
First performed by the Cape Town Repertory Theatre Society at the Hiddingh Hall on 29th October, 1928.

Mirage - the French TV series (1967-1970)
Telling the story about two fighter pilots, Tanguy and Laverdure, the original French series, Les Chevaliers du ciel ("The Knights of the Sky"), is a French television series in 39 episodes of 26 minutes, created by Jean-Michel Charlier, based on the comic strip The Adventures of Tanguy and Laverdure by cartoonist Albert Uderzo. Produced in 1967 the French series was broadcast by the Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française[1] from 1967-1970. (In 2005 a film of the same name, based on the series was made by Gérard Pirès, was released.)[2]
Translations and adaptations
The series was dubbed into English as The Aeronauts for the UK market.
In 1976 the series was dubbed into Afrikaans under its original French title, and broadcast on SABC TV1 in the first year of television in South Africa, going on for the full 3 seasons (39 episodes). The dubbing was directed by George Ballot.
