Met Liefde van Adéle ("With Love from Adéle") is an Afrikaans film.

The film

Dealing with the intimate friendship between two women and the effect on the relationship of a young boy and a handsome young man from the one woman's past, the film is said to be the first ever South African film about lesbian love.

The film was producer Dirk de Villiers's first independent film, produced by his newly founded company, C-Films, and released in South Africa in December 1974.

The script was co-produced and co written by Dirk de Villiers and Marie du Toit, the film was directed by Dirk de Villiers for C-Films with inter alia Marie du Toit, Pearl Gawlowski, Louw Botha, André Walters, Hennie Pietersen, Anna Cloete, Mees Xsteen, Fanie Bekker, Bruwer Engelbrecht and Louw Verwey.

The crew included composer Lindsay du Plessis, cinematographer Uwe Beckmann, and editor Thys de Wit.
