Lt Prescott
(17**-18**) A member of the Cape Town Garrison and the Garrison Players. Almost certainly one of the performers, he also signed himself as one of the two so-called "Directors" of the presentations by the Garrison Players in the African Theatre, specifically for the first two performances 1811 and 1812 respectably.
In 1811 his co-director was Lt Col Dennis for Lovers' Vows and Raising the Wind (27 July); and The Rivals and The Mock Doctor, or The Dumb Lady Cur'd (17 August).
In 1812 Lt Hanson shared the task for Speed the Plough and The Irishman in London (6 July); and A Cure for the Heart Ache and The Jew and the Doctor (12 July).
