Cape Town Opera Company (also referred to in some sources as the Cape Town Light Opera Company).

History

Cape Town Opera Company was founded by in 1939 by Alessandro Giuseppe Rota, an Italian tenor. In 1941, Joseph Manca became the conductor.

Later known as the Labia Opera Company or, in some sources, the Labia Grand Opera Company.
