Der Terminkalender ("The appointment calendar") is a German radio play by Max Gündermann (fl. 1950s)

The original text

The play addresses one of the most frightening dangers of our time: the pace of modern life shows one of the most frightening dangers of our time: the pace of modern life prevents people from being human. prevents people from being human.

First broadcast by Süddeutscher Rundfunk on 21 February, 1954, directed by Otto Kurthr and by RWR-W ("Rot-Weiß-Rot")[1] in Austria on 10 May, 1954, directed by Walter Davy.

Translated into Afrikaans as Jammer ek is besig ("Sorry, I am busy") by Jan Schutte.

Broadcast history in South Africa

1961: Broadcast nationally on 17 November by the SABC Afrikaans service, directed by Jan Schutte.
