Indumba is a physical theatre piece by Fana Tshabalala ().

The original text
The title is taken from the Zulu name for a hut used as a place for cleansing rituals in most African countries, and the piece sets up a theatrical space om which to explore the possibilities in which rites of passage can create new beginnings and purify minds and bodies from the negativities that haunt us.

Performance history in South Africa
2013: First performed by The Forgotten Angle Theatre Collaborative at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown. Choreographed by Fana Tshabalala with a cast that included Ivan Teme, Thami Majela, Fana Tshabalala and Nosiphiwo Samente.
