In a Different Light is an English play by Reza de Wet (1952-2012)

The original text

Written in 1989, it is a play about the relationship between two sisters after the loss of their mother.

One of De Wet's only attempts at psychological realism, the play was not well received by critics and is one of the few texts by De Wet that have not been published.

Performance history in South Africa

1989: Performed as In a Different Light at the Market Theatre, directed by Lindsay Reardon with Reza de Wet in the cast. It was to be her last stage role, before her final appearance in Die See, 22 years later (2011), once more directed by Lindsay Reardon. Others in the cast were Reza de Wet, Terry Norton, Andrew Buckland and Dawid Minnaar.
