A play for one person written by Royce Ryton (1924-2009). The play presents the ex-monarch's own picture of the extraordinary circumstances leading to his momentous decision to abdicate and the years which follow it.

1992: Presented by Pieter Toerien at the Richard Haines Theatre in August 1992 and at the Theatre on the Bay from 17 November 1992, directed by Mark Graham starring Jeremy Crutchley as HRH Duke of Windsor. Lighting design and dressing co-ordinated by Jannie Swanepoel. Mr Crutchley's costumes styled and made by Yusuf Jappie of PACT.
