Frits Stegmann (1918-1996). Lecturer and later senior lecturer of Physical Chemistry at Stellenbosch University (1948 - 1984).
Biography
He had a passionate love for music, stage and film. Wrote the Afrikaanse Operagids ("The Afrikaans Opera Guide") and the Afrikaanse Operette Gids (The Afrikaans Operetta Guide). Donated an enormous collection of film material to the University of Stellenbosch.
