Follow Spot Productions

Follow Spot Productions is a theatre production company based in Cape Town.

Also written as FollowSpot Productions and Followspot Productions.

History

Founded by Vanessa Harris and her husband Ash Searle in 2008. In 2014, they took over the management of the Kalk Bay Theatre and Restaurant.

In 2020, they ceased operating from the Kalk Bay Main Road venue, and subsequently found a new home for the Kalk Bay Theatre in the Brass Bell Bikini Bar at the long-established Brass Bell in Kalk Bay.

Productions

Under the Followspot banner, Harris and Searle have created over 20 shows, and have won ovation awards at the National Arts Festival and International awards at internal fringe festivals.
