Die Verlossing
Die Verlossing ("the salvation") is an Afrikaans radio drama, based on the Flemish novel by Willem Elsschot (1882 – 1960)[1].

The original text
De Verlossing is a tragicomic novel about the struggle waged between the socialist freethinker Pol van Domburg and a local pastor.
Published by Van Kampen, Amsterdam, in 1921.

The Flemish novel was adapted for radio and translated into Afrikaans by Ken Swart
