Dawid die dik dom kat ("David the thick, stupid, cat") is a children's play by Wilma Stockenström (1933-).

The original text

The play is dedicated to the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer[1].

The text published as playscript by DALRO (the Dramatic, Artistic and Literary Rights Organisation) in 1971 and again in 1984.
