In 1995 he was a drama lecturer at Wits.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He co-directed Danton.

He co-wrote the plays Cry of the Serpent's Mate with Michelle du Toit (the play shortlisted for the Amstel Playwright of the Year Award of 1983) and Scavenger's Dream with Clare Stopford.

He co-wrote Armed Response with Martina Griller and directed a production of the play.

He directed Hamlet and Macbeth for SODA in the 1990s.
