Carol-Ann Kelleher (19**-). Actress and radio presenter.

Biography

Born in Port Elizabeth, she attended St Dominic’s Priory and then went on to study English and speech and drama at Rhodes University from 1979. She worked for PACT for a while. She lived in Johannesburg, Durban and the US, (in the US she participated in shows and TV advertisements) before returning to work in Port Elizabeth as radio announcer at Algoa fm , co-hosting the morning show with Daron Mann and Charlton Tobias.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

As a student she had a role in The Bacchae (Rhodes 1981).

As a professional actress she has appeared on stage in The Rise and Fall of the First Empress Bonaparte, (PACT 1983), The Night of the Iguana (PACT 1983), Tom Jones (PACT 1983), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (PACT 1984), The Diary of Iris Vaughan, The Front Page (PACT 1984), Tons of Money PACT 1984), A Man for All Seasons (NAPAC 1988), Singin' in the Rain(1989) NAPAC, Richard III also for NAPAC, Hard Times (PACT 1989), March of the Falsettos, Scrooge a children's musical.
