Afrikaanse Schetsze
Afrikaanse Schetsze ("Afrikaans sketches") was the title given to a series of comical sketches written by Melt J. Brink and published in the periodical The Knobkerrie, under the pseudonym Koos Rijmzak in 1884.
They were the first of Brink's works to be written the form of Dutch-Afrikaans that had begun to develop in the Cape, and in his case, his own version thereof, which would later be referred to as "Brink Afrikaans" by some commentators.
