’n Lewe in die teater by David Mamet (19**-)*

The original text

’n Lewe in die teater is an Afrikaans translation by Peter Taljaard of the American play A Life in the Theatre by David Mamet. A tragi-comedy described as Mamet's love letter to the theatre, it explores the relationship between a younger and an older actor — one at the start of his career, the other nearing its end.

The production won awards for Best Debut Production and Best Artists at the Vryfees in 2011.
