Formerly the Phoenix Theatre, a theatre near the beach in Camps Bay, Cape Town. Renovated and converted to a theatre by Pieter Toerien in the late 1980s.
Productions
It opened in mid December 1988 with a production of Nunsense. James Sherman’s Beau Jest was staged here in 1993. Giles Havergal’s dramatisation of Graham Greene’s Travels with my Aunt was staged here in July 1994.
The venue is currently also home to the Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy.
