Liefde, Vriendschap en List, of De Uitwerking van het Extractum Longua Vivum ("love, friendship and cunning, or the effect of the Extractum Longua Vivum") is a Dutch one act comedy by A.A. van der Stempel Jr (fl 1860s-70s).

F.C.L. Bosman (1980: 465) however has the author as Theodoor van der Stempel and the play's name simply as Liefde, Vriendskap en List in one case (p. 465) and (strangely) Extractum Longum Vitum in another (p. 474).

Written for the Rederijkers circa 1860-70, . A Dutch performance by De Rederijkerskamer S. J. van den Bergh of Enkhuizen, Netherlands, is recorded for Monday 21 November 1870.

Performance history in South Africa

1870: First performed as Liefde, Vriendschap en List in the Germania Hall, Cape Town, by Aurora II on 5 May, with De Opkomst van het Huis Rothschild (T. van der Stempel).

1870: Performed as Liefde, Vriendschap en List in the Germania Hall, Cape Town, by Aurora II on 26 July, with Retief Gewroken (Teengs).

1886: Performed as Extractum Longua Vivum in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town, by a combined group made up of members of Aurora II and De Eendracht on 13 March, with De Hugenoten (Meyerbeer, Scribe and Deschamps).
