Withered Leaves is a comedietta in one act by Frederic William Broughton (1851-1894)

The original text

First performed at the Theatre Royal, Sheffield, on 2 April, 1875 and published by Samuel French, [ca. 1875?] as issue 725 of French's Acting Editions.

Apparently performed in South Africa and Australia as Withered Leaves, or The Fairy of the Glen by touring companies.

Performance history in South Africa

1877: Performed as The Serious Family by Disney Roebuck and his company in the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town, on 3 August, with Brown and the Brahmins (Reece).
