Vicki Vosloo (1939-). Actress.

Biography

Vicki was born and raised in Cradock, South Africa and studied at the University of Stellenbosch in the late 1950s.

She retired from acting in 1961 to work on a Dutch Reformed Church mission station in Zimbabwe (then Southern Rhodesia) for a number of years. She was one of sixteen full time actors chosen by PACT in 1963.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She has appeared on stage in productions of Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder for University of Stellenbosch Department of Speech and Drama, 1958, (probably in Afrikaans), The Dark is Light Enough (1959), Nie vir Geleerdes (NTO 1960), Die Renosters (1963-4), Meneer Sleeman Kom, Die Gebreekte Kruik (as the girl in the case, 1963).

She starred in the films Basie and Die Jagters in 1961.
