Unscrewing a Stage is a play by Andrew R. Donaldson.

The original text

Written by Donaldson for the USAT Dramafees of 1978 while still a student at Stellenbosch University, it is described as "a venture into some absurdities of the stage" in the festival programme.

Performance history in South Africa

1978: Performed at the USAT Dramafees, by the residences Huis Ten Bosch and Hombré at the University of Stellenbosch, on 16 March. Directed by Andrew Donaldson, with Steffen Zoiutendijk, Francois de Klerk, Claire Wannenberg, Steve Collins, Nicki van Niekerk, Neil Muller, Annelie Lombard, Debbie Foster, Willie Lategan and Paul Garisch. Stage manager Ynor Meyer, assisted by Veronica Mayr.
