Two for the Seesaw (1958), a critically acclaimed two-character play written by William Gibson (1914-2008). It was Gibson's Broadway debut and it starred Henry Fonda and Anne Bancroft, in her own Broadway debut. It was directed by Arthur Penn.

Filmed in 1962, directed by Robert Wise, with Robert Mitchum and Shirley MacLaine.
