The Flashing Stream is a play by English-born playwright and novelist Charles Morgan (1894-1958)[1].


The original text

A play about mental absolutism. First produced in England in 1938 and published by Macmillan & Co in the same year.

South African productions

1943: First produced in South Africa in 1943 by the Johannesburg Reps, directed by Muriel Alexander, starring Sydney Witkin and Minna Schneier.

1956: Produced by National Theatre Organisation in 1956, directed by Margaret Inglis with Inglis (Karen Selby), John Hussey (Edward Ferrers), Pieter Geldenhuys, Frank Wise, Alan Chadwick, Timothy Heale, Ivor van Rensburg, Robett Wilson and Peggy Burt. {Robert Lang?).
