Story Theatre is the title of a set of modern adaptations of Grimm and Aesop folk fables, by Paul Sills [1]].

It opened on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre on October 26, 1970.

Performance history in South Africa

1974: Produced by PACT and directed by Aubrey Berg with Frantz Dobrowsky, Janice Honeyman, Paul Slabolepszy, Richard Haines and Eckard Rabe.

1975: Presented by CAPAB at the Hofmeyr Theatre, opening 5 April.

1988: Presented by Rhodes University Drama Department directed by Sydney James in March and April.
