1983: Staged by the Market Theatre Company, with Lucille Gillwald directing Elize Cawood as Olive Schreiner. First performed at the Grahamstown Festival in July, then at the Laager (Market Theatre) in August and in December at the Oude Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch.
