Robin Sanders (19*-). Actor and director.

Training

He studied drama at the University of Cape Town Drama Department.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Robin acted in a UCT student production of St Joan of the Stockyards as Lennox, 1979, Marat/Sade (as Duperret, Little Theatre, 1980), Romeo and Juliet (Maynardville 1980), Another Country (Baxter Theatre 1983.

He directed Miss Margarida's Way (Baxter Theatre 1981), a University of Cape Town Drama Department production of Marcus Brutus (1982), A New Birth (1982), Accidental Death of an Anarchist (1983), True West (Baxter Theatre 1983),


Awards, etc.

He was the winner of the Fleur du Cap Award for Most Promising Student in 1981.
