Biography

Training

Career

Member of the Johan Fourie company from 1957 to 1962. Joined CAPAB in 1967 after having studied at the University of Stellenbosch.


Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He had roles in Voëlvry, Ken Jy die Melkweg, Richard III, Tartuffe (1968), Die Vader (1969), Die Koning Sterf (1969), Die Blindes (1970), Titus Andronicus (1970), Dokter teen Wil en Dank (1970), Die Nag van Legio (1976), Kyk Hoe Hol Hulle (1983). He participated in CAPAB's programmes for schools and libraries.

Film work include Erfgenaam and Vlug van die Seemeeu and on television he appeared in the series Opdrag and the drama Die Skaam Man.

Awards, etc

Drie Blare Award for his role as Aaron the Moor in Titus Andronicus.
