Published by Dramatists Play Service, 1943, and first performed at the 48th Street Theatre, New York 3 May, 1944 (playing till 21 October, 1944).

Translations and adaptations

The 1959 British film Too Young to Love was based on this play.

Performance history in South Africa

1952: Produced by Taubie Kushlick with Marilyn Patterson and Colin Stamp. The play caused quite a stir in Johannesburg because of its outspoken content.
