Oktobernag ("October Night") is a one-act play by Gerhard J. Beukes.

Not to be confused with the famous poem Oktobermaand (lit. "October month") by the Afrikaans poet and dramatist C. Louis Leipoldt.

The original text

An Afrikaans one-act play about the 1914-Rebellion, it was first published in Laat die Kerse Brand! en Ander Eenbedrywe (1945), later also in Kerse Teen die Wind: Tien Eenbedrywe (1950), and Viertal (1968), all by J.L. van Schaik, ,
