Next Sunday is a play by Godfrey Thobejane.

The original text
Predominantly written in isiZulu, with some English dialogue, it is a piece about Matlakala, a woman born to a drug addict, who must face the same challenges as her mother when she herself becomes a parent.
Inspired by a poem by playwright Napo Masheane, the play was conceived and written by Godfrey Thobejane in 2011 for a class production for the author's students at the Monnyth Art House in Pretoria.

2011: Performed by the author and his former students at the Market Theatre Laboratory's Zwakala Festival, where it came out the winner.
