Graduated from the Witwatersrand University with a BA Dram (Hons) in 1988.

She directed the Wits Kampustoneel entry Die Eend. She directed Die Eend for TRUK, 1993, Downside Up, Don Gxubane Onner die Boere in 1994, Macbeth 1998, Othello (1998), Crashing the Night 2000, For Better, For Wors for the The Kultcha Klub One Night stand Festival and Educating Rita, also for The Kultcha Klub. Much Ado about Nothing (2007), Neil LaBute's Bash [1] (2014), .

She received the Johannesburg Repertory Players award twice during her student years. She won a Loerie Gold for her direction on the AIDS play Secrets and Lies.
