May Edouin (fl. 1900-1910) was a vaudeville artiste.

Biography

She was the daughter of the well-known comedian Willie Edouin and was married to fellow vaudevillian Fred Edwards, with whom she made up the Edouin-Edwards Company.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Described by Boonzaier (1923) as "a clever performer, bright, sparkling and humorous in everything she did", she appeared in Cape Town with in such as A Bachelor's Dream and The Kleptomaniacs at the start of the 20th century.
