'n Stryd met Engele was presented by TRUK Toneel in 1982 under the direction of William Egan at the State Theatre, Pretoria and at the Alexander Theatre, Johannesburg. The cast: Wilna Snyman (Maria), Louis van Niekerk (Josef), Amor Tredoux, Annelize van der Ryst, Marie Pentz, Alida Theron, Aletta Bezuidenhout, Paul Lückhoff, Rika Sennett, Karin Jerg, Elzabé Zietsman, Nico Liebenberg, Johan Malherbe, Eric Nobbs, Schalk Schoombee. Design by Chris van den Berg, lighting by Paul Pamboukian.
