Marie Schutte (19**-2014) was a teacher, playwright and author of children's stories.

Biography

Marie was married to actor Pieter Hauptfleisch and is the mother of Gus Hauptfleisch and Konrad Hauptfleisch.

Publishing under her maiden name, she is well known for her radio dramas, she also wrote many plays for schools, including 'n Handvol Skille. None have been published. She won some awards for her published children’s stories later in her life.

She passed away in 2014.
