Les Jardiniers ("The gardeners") is a musical comedy[1] in two acts by Bertin Davesne (fl. 1765-1774)[2] with music by M. Prudent.

The original text

First performed in Paris by the Comédiens Italiens Ordinaires du Roi, on 15 July 1771 and shown at court in 16 December 1771. Published in Paris at La Veuve Allouel, Quay des Gévres in 1772.

Translated into Dutch as De Tuiniers by J. T. Neyts

Translated into Italian as Li Giardinieri by Federigo Toassa Friot da Asti
