Legends! is a comedy by American playwright James Kirkwood (1922-1989). The play is about two ageing movie stars who loathe each other but are forced to work together.

1988: A Pieter Toerien production was directed by Rex Garner at the Alhambra Theatre, Johannesburg, from 3 July 1988 and at the André Huguenet Theatre, Bloemfontein .


Presented by Pieter Toerien at the Theatre on the Bay directed by Rex Garner from 24 May to 10 June 1988 starring Shelagh Holliday (Leatrice Monsee), Wilna Snyman (Sylvia Glenn), Mark Richardson/Adrian Waldron (Martin Klemmer), Shaleen Surtie-Richards (Aretha Thomas), Floris de Clrecq ((Boom-Boom Johnson), Adrian Waldron/Rick Rogers (A Policeman). Lighting as well as set design by Jannie Swanepoel, costumes designed by Alison Yates.
