The Ladima Foundation is a Pan-African non-profit organisation focussed on supporting women in the fields of filmmaking, video production and related content development.

Founded with the aim of contributing to correcting the major imbalances within the industry, Ladima specifically aims to support women in a variety of roles within these fields, through a range of projects and interventions, partnerships and collaborations, in various countries, as well as through Pan-African networks and projects. The Foundation is committed to developing training, networking, and related opportunities for women professionals who demonstrate their seriousness and commitment to their craft.

The Foundation is run by a team consisting of Edima Otuokon, Adenike Mantey and Lydia Idakula Sobogun (all three from Nigeria); Patrice Carter (USA); Malu van Leeuwen (Zanzibar); and Lara Utian-Preston and Theresa Hill (both from South Africa).
