Kobus Strydom () is a drama teacher, translator, playwright and editor.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He wrote Die Voëltjies ("The little birds"), an Afrikaans adaptation of The Birds by Aristophanes and a modernised adaptation of Kinderspeletjies by Marietjie Pretorius in 2015.

Compiler of the play collection : Tienertoneel: verhoogtekste ('n Keur van vyf eenbedrywe wat tussen 1984 en 1988 vir die ATKV se jaarlikse amateurtoneelfees geskryf is. Die stukke is gekies met die oog op die tienerspeler. Almal is wenners of naas-wenners van die C.R. Swart-prys.) Published in 1989 by Tafelberg. The volume contains:
