John Ramsdale (19**-) Actor.





Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

John was a member of the Drama Centre in District Six and went onto take part in productions at the Space Theatre, Maynardville, the Baxter Theatre.

He was seen in Robert Mohr's modern-dress production of Julius Caesar at the Little Theatre at UCT, Norm and Ahmed at the Baxter Theatre in 1977 and he performed in A Flea in her Ear at The Space in 1978. He also had a role in Scathkadie the Sorceress.

On 3 and 6 July, 2017 he did dramatic readings of Bonhoeffer in St Patrick’s Church, 47 Hill Street, Grahamstown as part of the Spiritfest 2017 Programme.
