Biography
From the Katberg Mountains, educated at St Andrews College, Grahamstown, Rhodes University and PE Technikon. He was married to Michelle Botes.
Training
Career
His first professional years were at CAPAB, the Space Theatre and Troupe Theatre Company. Since 1982 he has been predominantly involved in TV and film work but has done at least one play every year.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He starred in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Kafka’s Metamorphosis together with Henry Goodman, Fiona Ramsay and Steven Berkoff. It was directed by Richard E. Grant and Mike O’Brien and staged at the Market in 1980. Played Donny in American Buffalo.
