He studied at the Akademie vir Dramakuns.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Among his many televsion roles are those in Manakwalanders, Plek van die Vleisvreters, Binnelanders. He played in the Jamie Uys feature film The Gods must be Crazy.

Awards

He won an award from the ATKV in 2007 as Best Actor for his role as "At Koster" in Binnelanders.
