Gideon de Wet (19**-) Actor, dancer, mime artist.

Training

Gideon has a Performer's Diploma fro UCT's Drama School and has studied ballet at UCT's Ballet School, mime at the Summer Aademy in Austria andclowning at the Theatre Studio in Rome.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He has appeared in Dancing into Darkness, Sunrise City (1988), The Knock on the Door, Elephant of Africa, Liefdeskringloop, Die Van Aardes van Grootoor, Thina Bantu - We People, Dinner at the Monkeyhouse, M. Butterfly, Score Me the Ages, In-Mates (1990), The Nuns, Hellhound (1992).

He has directed The Vineyard.

Film work includes A Private Life and Operation Weissdorn.
