Ferdie performed in Caberet, Fiddler on the Roof, The Minstrel Scandals and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (1972).

He starred in Taubie Kushlick’s production of Jacques Brel in November 1979 at the Chelsea Theatre and in her production of A Tribute to the Words and Music of Brel at Kushlicks Theatre Restaurant in September 1989.

He was a soloist in the All new Minstrel Scandal and played in Lock up your daughters. He has done recording and radio transcription work.
